What is krappa oil?

Krappa oil, also known as Andiroba oil, is a natural vegetable oil that is extracted from the seeds of the krappa tree, Carapu Guianensis tree. Mainly found in the Amazon, Suriname, the Caribbean and Central America. Krappa oil is cold-pressed, pure, unrefined and 100% natural. In Suriname, krappa oil is widely used as skin and hair care.
