Fennel is part of the parsley family and the oil is cleansing, stimulating and refreshing. The oil has an anise-like scent and has a calming effect. The dried herb is often used in hot teas to stimulate digestion. The Celts considered the plant to be very valuable and liked to use the licorice-like scent in cleansing ceremonies. Add a drop to night cream for silky soft skin. Combine with Frankincense, Geranium and Ginger.
